Vehicle Description

Making its debut in the year 2000, the Maruti Suzuki has completed two decades on Indian roads. And in case you didn’t know already, the carmaker has sold over 38 lakh units of the hatchback and it was also India’s first entry-level car to become BS6 compliant.

The Maruti Alto is powered by a 0.8-litre petrol engine that produces 47bhp and 69Nm of torque in its petrol version. When switched to the CNG mode, the same motor has an output of 40bhp and 60Nm of torque.

The Alto measures 3,445mm in length, is 1,475mm tall and 1,515mm wide and boasts 2,360mm of wheelbase.

Exterior design:

Although simple, the Maruti Suzuki has a design that is fresh and likeable. The front single slat grille and compact design make the Alto look smart and winsome.

Interior and features:

The cabin has an elegant two-tone dashboard with the centre stacked seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system, reverse parking sensors, front and rear bottle holder, power windows, remote keyless entry, and front dual airbags.
